Association for the Conservation of Biological Diversity (ACDB) was formally established on July 2, 2003, but the activities undertaken in this area by the founding members started since 1999, participating in the implementation of projects and programs at national and international level.
In a very short time of existence, along with the founders of the Association for the Conservation of Biological Diversity, joined new members who brought with them extra knowledge and power. Today, the association operates over 50 members whose experience in nature protection activities contributed greatly to our goals and aspirations.
Association for the Conservation of Biological Diversity (ACDB) supports and promotes biodiversity conservation activities, environmental education and environmental protection. The Association for the Conservation of Biological Diversity runs:
– Scientific research of biological diversity
– Environmental education activities to sensitize and public awareness about environmental issues and protected species
– Activities of protection and conservation of flora and fauna
– Natural heritage conservation activities
– Activities to promote biodiversity conservation activities related to protected areas management activities
